Lily's has always been about more than just ice cream; it's been about creating a place where families can gather, connect, and make memories. As both McFarland and our own families have grown, we've wondered about what could come next.

Things started taking shape when Shaun (Owner of McFarland House Cafe & Lily’s Ice Cream) and Ali (Owner of Little Sprouts Family Daycare Co.) became friends. It didn't take long for them to realize they shared the same entrepreneurial spirit. Countless conversations, big ideas, and plenty of "what if?" moments eventually led to one exciting vision: Lily's Ice Cream & Play Cafe.

For years, Shaun has worked to make Lily's a welcoming space where neighbors can meet over a scoop of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream and where community always comes first. Around the same time, Ali was wrapping up an incredible 12-year career in childcare. Her passion for creating engaging, family-friendly spaces paired perfectly with Shaun's vision, and together, Lily's Play Cafe officially came to life.

Our goal is simple: to continue serving the ice cream you know and love while creating a place where kids can play, parents can relax, friends can gather, and families can celebrate life's special moments. Whether you're planning a playdate, hosting a birthday party, burning off some energy, or simply looking for a new place to spend the afternoon, we can't wait to welcome you.

Lily's Play Cafe is scheduled to open in September, with an invitation-only soft opening beginning August 15. We can't wait to share this next chapter with our community.
